Neurocoach Certification Program – Course Overview

Neurocoach Certification Program

A fully certified leadership and development coaching programme designed to empower neurodivergent clients.

Course Overview

Welcome to the Neurocoach Certification Programme, a comprehensive course designed to develop highly competent and empathetic neurocoaches. This programme is grounded in the belief that neurodiversity is a source of unique strengths and perspectives. It is a certified leadership and development coaching programme that has been specially adapted to work with the unique needs and abilities of neurodivergent clients. Our methodology is a direct application of the principles found in the works of Lane Anthony, including Autism a Superpower, The Dynamic Development Plan, and Awakening the Workforce.

Course Structure and Timeline

The programme is delivered over a rigorous yet flexible twelve-week period, structured to provide a clear path to certification:

  • Weeks 1 to 7: Core Learning Modules: Each of the first seven modules is allocated one week for in-depth study. This ensures deep engagement with the content at a steady and manageable pace.

Students are expected to engage with resources for each module, recording their learning in a reflective journal which they should be prepared to discuss in their weekly cohort meeting.

  • Week 8: Assessment Preparation: This week is dedicated to preparing you for your final assessment, providing a structured approach to writing your final paper.
  • Weeks 9 to 12: Final Assessment Period: You will have a full twenty-eight days to complete and submit your final three thousand word essay.

The Neuro Learn Difference

As a student of Neuro Learn Ltd, you will be assigned a personal tutor from the beginning of the programme. Your tutor is not only an assessor but an expert professional committed to your growth and success. They will provide personalised feedback on your reflective tasks and are available for live, individual tutor sessions upon request. This commitment to one-to-one support is a cornerstone of our teaching philosophy.

Learning Intentions

Upon successful completion of this programme, you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of neurodiversity and its historical and cultural context.
  • Apply core coaching principles with empathy and a neuro-affirming mindset.
  • Co-create individualised coaching plans using the Dynamic Development Plan framework.
  • Implement a range of adaptive techniques and tools to support a client’s unique learning and communication style.
  • Navigate real-world coaching scenarios and use them as evidence for professional practice.
  • Build a supportive network for your clients and for your own professional development.

The Purpose of the Reflective Task

At the end of each lesson, you will be required to complete a reflective task. These tasks are essential for your accreditation. Their purpose is to foster critical thinking, support the development of your coaching philosophy, and inform the writing of your final essay.

AI Use and Academic Integrity

Artificial Intelligence can be a valuable tool for learning, planning, and idea development. However, your work must remain an authentic demonstration of your own understanding, reflection, and professional reasoning. AI tools may be used for clarification, research support, or idea shaping, but they must not replace your own thinking.

  • Any use of AI must support your thinking rather than substitute it.
  • Students must not submit AI generated content as their own original work.
  • All reflective tasks, applied tasks, and final assessments must demonstrate personal insight and understanding.
  • Where AI assistance has been significant, this must be declared at the end of your submission.
  • NeuroLearn uses internal AI detection tools to ensure fair use and uphold academic standards.

Breach of Academic Integrity

Submitting work that misuses AI tools, presenting AI generated content as your own, or failing to declare AI assistance when required will be treated as a breach of academic integrity. In such cases, you may be asked to resubmit work, attend a review meeting, or receive additional tutorial support. In serious or repeated cases, removal from the programme may occur.

NeuroLearn will always take a supportive approach. The aim is not to penalise students but to ensure that all qualified Neurocoaches meet an appropriate professional standard.

Expectation for Successfully Being Certified as a Neurocoach

  1. Complete and submit your tasks within the required time.
  2. Attend all one to one or group cohort meetings.
  3. Keep a reflective log of learning for each module.
  4. Contact your tutor if you are having difficulty with any aspect of the course.

Good luck and enjoy your learning.
