DDP Support Plan Submission: Level 2 Evidence

DDP Support Plan

A Strengths-Based Blueprint for Advocacy

Professional Mandate

This document serves as your primary evidence for Component 3 of the Level 2 Accreditation. Your task is to develop a comprehensive support plan for a hypothetical individual, although you may draw upon your current professional caseload if preferred. Your plan must be grounded in the philosophy of sanctuary established in Dysregulated – Navigating an Altered State.

Remember that the goal of the Dynamic Development Plan is to fix the room, not the person. Your strategies should prioritise neurological safety and the validation of the individual as the lead navigator of their own experience.

1. The Neurological Asset Map

Identify four specific neurological assets or passions. You must reframe these from traditional deficit-based descriptions into specialised expertise or cognitive strengths.

2. The Environmental Prescription

Outline the mandatory adjustments required to plug environmental leaks. Focus on sensory buffers, cognitive load reduction, and the provision of sanctuary spaces.

3. Collaborative Navigation Protocol

Detail how you will involve the Lead Navigator in their own regulation journey. This must include strategies for interoceptive validation and the creation of safe exit routes.

Upon submission, this plan will be reviewed by a Neurolearn tutor as part of your Level 2 Accreditation portfolio.

“The blueprint for advocacy begins with the validation of experience.”
